    Description

    From a local estate, here is a very hard to find sandwich or cake plate made by MacBeth-Evans, a division of Corning Glass Works, in the late 1930's-early 1940's.  This is the brown Castle decal with the blue rim.  The rim of the piece is embossed as shown in photo three.  This plate measures 11 3/4" round and is in excellent condition.  No nicks, chips, cracks or other damage.  It would be a fabulous addition to any collection.
