    Description

    David Douglas and Co., a well-known manufacturer of household items and plastics was established in 1956.  He went on to establishing his own house ware company which bagged 13 awards at the National Housewares Association design awards in 1968.
    This hostess/snack/picnic set of 6 insulated cups and 6 plates is in excellent condition, the only signs of use are a few marks in bottom of the cups from stirring coffee.  The trays/plates each have a cork coaster inset to make holding the plate and eating with one hand do-able.
    Cups marked " Ultrasonically welded"; plates marked "Hand Finished Acca  David Douglas".
